Dr. Adamos Hadjipanayis, MDDr Adamos Hadjipanayis is Associate Professor of Paediatrics in the Faculty of Medicine of the European University Cyprus since 2013, a Director of Paediatric Clinic of the Larnaca General Hospital since 2015; a Medical Director of Larnaca General Hospital since February 2020, and President of the European Academy of Paediatrics (EAP), Paediatric section of Union of European Medical Specialists (UEMS) since 2018. Dr Hadjipanayis obtained his medical degree from the University of Athens in 1988, completed his residency in paediatrics at the First University Paediatric Clinic of Athens University in Greece in 1993. He received Training in Paediatric Nephrology under the Fulbright scholarship from The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, USA, Division of nephrology. is an Associate Professor of Paediatrics. His primarily teaching areas include paediatrics, communication skills and information technology. His research has been focused on human biomonitoring, and the risk/benefit of antibiotics and vaccines. He is the director of the paediatric department of Larnaca General Hospital and EAP President since 2018. Dr Hadjipanayis and EAP researchers developed a Greek language website devoted to children’s health.
